This mini-documentary showcases regional youth-led #SRHR policy advocacy and social accountability monitoring (SAM) efforts made through the Regional #SRHR Youth Advocacy & Accountability Alliance! (YAAA!), under the SAfAIDS Regional TLivesSHARP Programme, generously supported by Sweden. YAAA! members share some of their actions at regional and national levels, towards influencing policy and practice that improves adolescentsโ and young peopleโs access to SRH services and commodities, that are non-discriminatory, timely and high quality.
From advocating duty-bearers for better public resource management (PRM) to demanding availability of stigma-free SRH services, the YAAA! members are passionate young activists from across the #SADC region; leading the charge needed for a region that is responsive to realisation of Adolescentsโ and Young People’s SRHR.
