SAfAIDS appreciates its continued long-standing cooperation with the SADC Parliamentary Forum toward advancing progressive governance in the #SRHR #GenderEquality #ClimateJustice responses and their intersects with food security, agriculture, economic growth and democracy in the #SADC region. At the recent Joint Sitting of All SADC-PF Standing Committees we motivated equality, dignity, inclusion, compassion & human rights based values embedded in the principles of Ubuntu, and pillars of evidence through science – as fundamental considerations for law-making in the SRHR architecture. Recognising that realisation of SRHR for all populations, is directly linked to peace and security. Amidst our accountability actions with policy-makers & duty-bearers, we remain a appreciative of efforts made by Parliamentarians and Governments, to strengthen the human & social development ecosystem in our region
