A vibrant and inspirational Regional GNT4SRHR Skills-building Forum, hosted under the TLivesSHARP Programme

A vibrant and inspirational Regional GNT4SRHR Skills-building Forum, hosted under the TLivesSHARP Programme (supported by Sida – Styrelsen för Internationellt Utvecklingssamarbete) with a second cohort of policy-makers from 14 #SADC Members States’ Ministries of Gender/Women Affairs, Health, Education, Youth & Justice. The GNT4SRHR Model equips & motivates policy-makers to adopt values, transform & commit as actor champions, and enable gender-responsive SGBV and #SRHR policies & policy environments for adolescents & young people in SADC. The gender norms transformation in SRHR Skills-building also provided the policy-makers with resilience capabilities to integrate climate action, feminism, diversity, positive masculinities & disaster responses, into SRHR policy actions; and catalyse gender-responsive domestication of the “Regional Sexual Violence Response Guidelines for Adolescents & Young People in the SADC Region”. The policy-makers reaffirmed their championing the ‘Ubuntu Means ZeroSGBV4Africa’ Campaign to end Rape, Child Marriage and Femicide. They proposed collective actions to proactively counter anti-rights movements and pledged as Gender Champions.
