“The SADC SRHR Strategy (2019-2030): A Missing Link in the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) Implementation Matrix” Policy Brief

“The SADC SRHR Strategy (2019-2030): A Missing Link in the Regional Indicative Strategic Development Plan (RISDP) Implementation Matrix” Policy Brief developed by SAfAIDS under the Partnership for Social Accountability (PSA) Alliance, supported by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC); articulates what the absence of the SRHR Strategy in the SADC RISDP Implementation Matrix means for the regional SRHR agenda, and proposes how to address this missing link. It urges that the RISDP Implementation Matrix be updated to include the SADC SRHR Strategy (2019- 2030), towards upholding the SRHR of all people in SADC, and Member States achieving the SDGs and honoring their commitments to related regional, continental and international SRHR policy instruments.
