SAfAIDS #Zimbabwe, in partnership with CSOs to co-create a national accountability plan for HIV Prevention 2025 Road Map

An Accountability framework for #HIV Prevention is imperative to end the epidemic as a public health threat; by 2030. SAfAIDS #Zimbabwe, in partnership with Frontline AIDS, is collaborating with Ministry of Health and Child Care, National AIDS Council of Zimbabwe, UNAIDS and CSOs to co-create a national accountability plan for HIV Prevention 2025 Road Map. The process is one of the steps in domesticating the Global HIV Prevention Coalition 2025 HIV Prevention Road Map. It includes development of milestones for the 10-Point Action Plan that Zimbabwe must take to close gaps and sustain momentum to reach the 2025 targets; ensuring political leaders, HIV-responsive authorities, funding partners, private sector and civil society are accountable in a multisectoral prevention response, mobilizing and allocating adequate financing, implementing prevention programmes at scale and addressing politico-legal barriers.
