SAfAIDS  Regional  Office  is implementing  an  intervention project entitled Youth ARISE (Are Resilient, Inspired and SAM4SRHR Empowered)”, contributing to increasing access to SRH services by adolescents and young people (AYP), through integration of SAM and resilience building. It will embrace principles of inclusion, participation and diversity; in recognition  that  AYP  are  not  homogenous,  with  sub-populations  more  vulnerable  to  poor  SRH outcomes  amid  COVID-19.

The  project  will  be  implemented  in  Eswatini,  Lesotho,  Zambia  and Zimbabwe. The Youth ARISE project leverages on existing partnerships with youth-led CSOs, collaborations with Ministries of Health and relevant stakeholders and custodians at regional, national and local levels. It further contributes  to  achieving  prescribes  in  the  SADC  SRHR  Strategy  and  Scorecard,  AU  MPOA, ICPD+25, and the Joint UN 2gether4SRHR Initiative.
