SAfAIDS Zimbabwe and Civil Society Organisations with support from Population Solutions for Health (PSH) are collaborating with MoHCC to implement INTEGRATE – Catalyzing Integrated Sustainable Subnational HIV Biomedical Prevention in Zimbabwe. The project covers 15 districts of Zimbabwe and is aimed at facilitating subnational transition from vertical VMMC programming to a locally owned, locally driven, and integrated biomedical prevention response, which reduces new HIV infections for at-risk populations. The overall goal of this project is to ensure strengthened and integrated Government of Zimbabwe (GoZ)-led voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) systems that maintain coverage in a successful transition to a sustainable maintenance phase, with lessons learned captured, reused, and shared to integrate and catalyse biomedical HIV prevention uptake more broadly in Zimbabwe and beyond.
