SAfAIDS and Sonke Gender Justice wish to extend their sincere appreciation to all the gender equality activists, collaborative partners, community representatives (traditional and religious leaders, programme facilitators and teachers), academia representatives, the UN family and government departments who shared their expertise and experience with us during the event, ‘Linking and Learning on work with Leadership, Men and Boys: A Regional Symposium on Gender Norms Transformation’. Special mention goes to the young boys and girls from the Youth for Gender Norms transformation (Y4GT) clubs, as well as the ‘transformed’ men who took time to share their experiences in implementing gender norms transformative activities in- and out-of-school.
