The SAfAIDS flagship resource centres have been in operation for more than twenty years with over 12,000 resources. It is a source of information on research, programming, policies and informational and educational communication (IEC) materials, on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), including HIV and AIDS, TB, gender and human rights.
Catering for academics, researchers, journalists, policy makers and programmers, its collection includes physical, as well as electronic resources, including books, training manuals, conference papers, audio-visual materials and SAfAIDS publications. Resource Centre Networks and Services
Situated at the SAfAIDS offices in Avondale, Harare, the resource centre offers computer and internet services, and hosts regular community and policy dialogues on key SRHR issues. Keep an eye on our website for the latest events.
SAfAIDS has also supported the development of a strong network of resource centres and rural information kiosks across southern Africa, including Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Swaziland. Our dedicated team of library and information science experts are available to provide technical assistance in the design, set-up and management of local, national or community resource centres and information kiosks.
